One Year Later- The New Me!
Oh my gosh! Over a year has passed since my last entry. That proves how busy I am with soccer, school, life in general, and my crazy obsession for cosmetics. I started this blog, as any of you may remember, around 6th grade. I have changed a lot since then. First of all, I didnt wear any makeup besides concealer and powder in the 6th grade. I had the interest in makeup then, and was always trying to persuade my mom to let me use mascara because I was so self concious about my pale blonde eyelashes that made me feel so bare. My focus was mainly on writing and playing my favorite sport. In 7th grade my view on life and growing older changed me dramatically. I began using mascara, a funny story behind it. I went to my grandmother's church's Fall Festival Auction and they had a basket up for bids with various Mary Kay products, one of which was a mascara. In the basket was an eyeshadow, a sunscreen, an after sun replenishing gel, and lip gloss, and this mascara. Plus, a gift certificate to a boutique on Del Mar street (to clarify- the shopping district of downtown San Clemente) that my mom absolutely adores, called Bliss. My mother bid on the basket and won. She gave me the mascara and the sunscreen but kept the rest. Finally my day had come, and the next day at school I got many compliments from my friends. My self-esteem was at an extreme high at that time, which triggered my OCD for makeup which has lead me to become the person I am today. I have three drawers crammed with makeup of all sorts, organized by facial region (face/skin, eyes, lips). I am now in the 8th grade and wear makeup every day to school. My usual products are a foundation, concealer, powder, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner mascara, and lip gloss. I will immediatly do a follow up post after I post this so that you are'nt reading a novel and falling asleep, talking about some of my favorite products at the moment.

Christmas Time is here! Happiness and cheer!
So excited for x-mas. getting our tree tomorrow! Dad bought an inflatible snowman which I named:

If I don't write for a super long time after this, don't be surprised cuz' I got alot on my hands! Will try though!

SO LONG SINCE I'VE WRITTEN!
Hello! So sorry, I've been busy with ending my summer and starting 7th grade. When was the last time I wrote, July? Well, I have to update you on the big 7. It's SO COOL! I love all my teachers, all my classes, and I absolutely love my homework! Just kidding. I am acually finishing up some homework now. Math, Science, and English. I wrote a poem for english and I thought you might want to hear it.
I Am...
I am beautiful like a rose.
I wonder if the world will bring peace.
I hear laughter in my head.
I see myself smiling in the frame.
I want my life to be a never ending line of laughs.
I am beautiful like a rose.
I pretend to be known throughout the world.
I feel the joy beneath my skin.
I touch my silky blonde hair as if it were the softest cloud.
I worry about my future, and how it will turn out.
I cry when I see other lives lost.
I am beautiful like a rose.
I understand I will not live forever.
I say life is like a song.
I dream of things nobody knows.
I hope I can be the best I can be.
I am beautiful like a rose.
What did you think? Comment with your name and state. Thanks guys! I'll try to write more often!

Busy Week: No Mexican Heat!
Sorry I havn't posted in a while, I have been busier than the shopping mall on Saturday. Just got back from Mexico yesterday, which was a great trip! I would have written from there, but there is no internet reception so I couldn't get on. Plus, we dont have a computer down there, aside from my uncle's laptop and fancy touch screen phone with internet. The first day was really gloomy. All we did was sweep, dust, and unpack. We played Yahtzee that night, acually we played every night. The mosquitos ate me alive that night, in the morning I felt like I had a minor case of chicken pox! The next morning after Eggs, bacon, sausage, and tortillas, we walked up in the hills (which was great, but tiring). Uncle Bernie and Aunt Megan seemed to like it. It was gloomy, but at 4:00 the sun came out. We alll sat on our beach chairs and drank Diet Root Beer (Only the adults added alcohol). We shopped the strip mall downtown and I bought a new toe ring to add to my collection. We saw these cute little baby lions and tigers and got to take a photo with them! They were so cute! If I can figure it out, I'll post a picture of one of the lions named Penelope. That night the mosquitos left me alone, so I was itchless in the morning. In the morning, we walked the SAME walk again only we went a lot further. 3 uphills! And they were steep (Like / )! I was about to die when we got home, but I drank some Power Ade and felt better. The sun was out all day that day, so we hit the beach. The water is ice cold there, but it felt good. We went home and played Scrabble. I took a nap, a long nap, while the adults chilled. No mosquiotos that night. Saturday was a lazy day. It was gloomy, so we all stayed inside. Sunday, we hit the road. I might go back in a month, so I said goodbye to it for now!

Michigan VI= Craig's Cruisers
Hey guys! Today I am going to a sort of Boomers like place called Craig's Cruisers with Hayley. They have Go-Carts, Mini Golf, an Arcade, and Bumper Boats. If I can figure out how, I'll post some pictures of it later. After I get back from that, I'll be out on the lake (maybe fishing) riding the Sea-Du (Jet Ski) and floating on the tube. I've got to make this one quick, because I am leaving soon! See ya!

Michigan IV.5= Macinaw Island
Just got back from our two day trip to Mackinaw Island. We drove for 4 hours on the road from Muskegon to Mackinaw City. We stayed in a suite at the Clarion Hotel. In the morning, we caught a ferry to the island. Have any of you seen the movie "Somewhere in Time"? Well, if you have, that's where that movie was made. We went to the Grand Hotel (Didn't stay there... it is WAY too expensive) and explored, say a few horses crud on the sidewalk, and saw this GORGEOUS town. We went up to Fort Mackinaw, where the soldiers would stay in the 1800's. AFter that and thousands of pictures, we caught the ferry back to the mainland and drove home in Grandpa's truck for 4 hours. Now I'm back here, and all I want to do is sit on the couch and read my book, you guessed it, Somewhere in Time.

Michigan IV= Macinaw Island
Please excuse me if I misspelled Macinaw, but I am in a bit of a rush for this one. We are about to leave for Macinaw Island, Michigan, and if you dont know where that is, think of the movie Somewhere in Time. The Grand Hotel is in Macinaw Island. We will be there for 2 days, so I wont be posting for a while. I'll write when I get home!

Michigan III.5
Hey ya'll! I got back recently from the sand dunes. The tour was so much fun! We walked on the sand, and boy was it hot! After that, we went to Whippy Dip and got ice cream. Then we came home and I swam with Hayley. She might sleepover!? Tomorrow we are driving up to Macinaw Island, so I wont be posting. I'll write as soon as I can!
Michigan III= Sand Dunes
I am still recovering from the fireworks last night! There were fireworks exploding on every corner of Wolf Lake! They were so pretty to watch, I had so much fun there! Today, we are going to the sand dunes. It's about a 40 minute drive from here to there. We are going to rent a dune buggy and ride the dunes. I tell you more about it later! I have to go!

Michigan II.5= 4th of July
So, we just got back from the lake. The A&C fair was super fun! I did get a toe ring, it's gold. I keep getting worried that it was going to fall off, but I stays on! I think I have to wear it 24/7! I got this all natural lip balm (French Lavender) at this booth with all these organic products, so I stuck it in my pocket. When I got it out to use it, it was melted! So, when we got home, I stuck it in the refrigerator. Now, it's hard again, but it has an extra chill to make your lips refreshed. BONUS! Tonight we are going to eat meatball subs and watch the boat parade. Oh! I forgot to mention! I rode BY MYSELF on a jet ski! It was SO fun! The fireworks go until 2:00 in the morning, so I'll have to use some earplugs if I want to sleep tonight! Adios'!
Michigan II= 4th of July
Today is the 4th of July, so we will be very busy today! I woke up this morning around 8:30 a.m, had a bowl of cheerios with RED raspberries and BLUE blue berries. I put on the most 4th of Julyish shirt I packed, which is a blue Roxy shirt with stars and stripes. We are preparing to leave for an arts and crafts fair with a bunch of booths with crafts or paintings to make or buy. Grandpa promised me a toe ring, which I hope will fit on my sausage toe! After that, we are going to decorate the boat for the parade. But after that, we are going to swim, jet ski, and I might go drag tubing with a nice girl named Haley that is staying on this street from Texas. Grandpa said I could be on the boat, maybe drive it, in the boat parade. We'll watch the fireworks from the boat, which will be pretty. I might write something later about how this day really went. Sayonara!

Michigan
We finally arrived in Michigan today about an hour ago. My grandparents have made some MAJOR upgrades since the last time I was here (which was a long time ago!) The cottage is BEAUTIFUL and the weather is just right, a little bit cooler than Illinois, but perfect. I'm sleeping downstairs in the same room I slept in 5 years ago, but it is a lot different than last time. When I was here last, there were two sets of bunk beds in that room, but now it is just two regular beds. One for me, and one for my cousin (He's 2 years old right now, so he'll use the bed when he's older.) We recently went out on my grandpa's Pontoon Boat for a ride in lake Michigan, and I got to DRIVE! Well, more like steer. Grandma and my mom were snapping away with their fancy shmancy cameras. My mouth gets SO soar at the end of the day! There is a cool summer breeze blowing and it is SO relaxing! Oh! Since tomorrow is the fourth of July, we are decorating the boat with red white and blue for a boat parade either tonight or early tomorrow morning. We'll watch the fireworks from the lake, which will be so beautiful! Grandpa owns a couple of Jet Skis, so we might take those out for a spin tomorrow. Right now, all I want to do is R-E-L-A-X! After all, I have been on 2 3 hour flights and up late every night and I am just now recovering from a LONG 4 hour drive from Naperville, Illinois to Muskegon, Michigan. I have been to 5 states in 3 days. California, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, and now Michigan! And there is more to come! On the flight home from Michigan, we have to stop in Colorado for an hour. Who knew you could do so much in so little time?! When you guys comment (if you ever comment) Tell me about what you are doing this summer, and fill me in on the details. If you are not in the state of California, tell me your first name and state abbreviation. Aloha!

My Trip- Summer Atlast!
I'm in Illinois right now! Tomorrow I am leaving for Michigan with my mom and our friends Jennifer, Elyse, Doug, Julia and Lilly Bowman with their dog Molly to visit my grandparents. Well, The Bowmans are going to thier grandparents in Big Rapids while we go to Muskeegon. We went to Chicago yesterday, WHAT A TOWN! I LOVED it there! It was a beautiful day, not too cold, not too hot. Today we stayed in Naperville, a small town just outside the city. I was so amazed at the landscaping, because you would think since Illinois is further north than CA, it would be colder, right? NO! I was green, hot, and there was not a single cloud in the sky! Bailee is in Lake Havasu, Arizona, and she sent me some pictures. I'll tell you right now, we are in OPPOSITE cities right now. Here, its green and full. There, its dry, brown, and very hot! 105 degrees! But they have a lake to cool off in, lucky ducks! I SAW ECLIPSE TONIGHT! It was the best movie EVER! I would recommend it! Well, I got to go get ready for the sack, because We've got a LONG drive tomorrow!
